My paintings are inspired by alteration and upheaval in the landscape - the ports, harbours, fields and beaches near my home in East Anglia. I am particularly interested bythe impact of human endeavour on our environment, and the constructions we devise to exploit or subvert the forces of nature.

The demolition and regeneration of the Ipswich Waterfront was the starting point for work undertaken during my BA in Fine Art at UCS (graduated 2008) while recent paintings have explored coastal themes.
